Munnar is the main attractive future of the southwestern state of Kerala. The convergence of three mountain streams of Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala is situated around 1600 m above sea level in the Western Ghats range of mountains. Eravikulam National Park  

Eravikulam National Park is one of the main attractions near Munnar. The Kerala Department of Forests and Wildlife along with Munnar Wildlife Division take care of the function of Ervikulam National park, which is under consideration to declare as the World Heritage Site. Eravikulam National Park is spread over an area of 97 sq. km. There are different kinds of rare butterflies, animals and birds in Eravikulam National Park, which is also a great place for trekking.

Anamudi Peak  

The peak standing at a height of over 2700 m from the sea level, which is considered as the highest peak in south India. You should get permission from the Forest and Wildlife authorities at Eravikulam to go for a trekking with this place. The English translation of word Anamudi is “elephant’s forehead”.

Mattupetty  

It is just 13 Km away from Munnar. It possesses 1700 m height from sea level. The storage masonry dam and the beautiful lake are the key attractions of Mattupetty. You can enjoy pleasurable boat rides which providing the amazing beauty of the surrounding hills and landscapes

Pallivasal  

The first Hydroelectric project of Kerala is located in Pallivasal. This is around 3 km away from Munnar. This place is blessed with lots of stunning areas to thrill the travelers

Tea Museum  

Munnar is famous about the historical trend of tea plantation. Tata Tea in Munnar opened recently for the visitors to express its tea history. It is located in, at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar.
